Come 2011 Aston Martin Dealers will have a new model to boast of in their showrooms. The model named “Cygnet” will be available in two colors black & white. Grape vine was they wanted to have more colors like metallic grey, tomato red however they have decided to stick with classic shades as of now. It’s meant for urban mobility, it’s a small car but there is no compromise in terms of quality & style. The model which has 98 horsepower & 1.30 cc petrol engine with 4 cylinders. Its manual gearbox ramp up the speed in just 11.6 seconds. Fuel consumption is actually quite economical keeping in mind for a sports car with an average of 5 lit/100km. Aston Martin Dealers will have lot to pitch in for Cygnet with its tastefully done interiors. Most of the interiors are handcrafted & will also provide bespoke services as per client’s demand.
One of the Aston Martin Dealers Dominic Toe said generally Aston Martin sports cars are not feasible for a day to day use. But with launch of Cygnet it can be used on daily basis on city roads. Even though it’s a small car it can easily accommodate 4 people. Customers are looking forward for Cygnet to hit the road. Probable date of launch will be somewhere in April 2011. May be after that only true verdict on the promise of Aston Martin will be out.
